Bio/Description

Saúl Hernández Rosales holds a BA in International Studies from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, an MA in Latin American Studies from l'Université Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III) and a PhD from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar in Ecuador.
He is currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing in Spanish at New York University. He has taught at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO) and the Escuela Nacional Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú. His research analyzes the place of racial representations in the discourse of power in Latin America through history, philosophy and literary creation.
