Profile
Eliana Hernandez-Pachon (Ph.D. Cornell University, 2022; MFA in Creative Writing in Spanish, 2015). Her research explores queer ecologies and plant and non-human interactions in Latin American Literature. She is interested in Ecopoetry, Critical Pedagogies in Language teaching and Creative Writing. Her book "La mata" won the National Award of poetry of Colombia in 2021.
Before coming to Princeton, she taught Spanish and Latin American cultural production at Columbia, Cornell and NYU
