Dr. Daniela Salcedo Arnaiz was born and raised in Lima, Perú, where she finished a B.A. in Hispanic Linguistics. She received her PhD in Hispanic Linguistics from The Ohio State University. Her research interests include language contact, dialectology, linguistic anthropology, language attitudes, linguistic ideologies, and linguistic policies, and rights. She has more than 13 years of experience teaching several Spanish and Linguistic courses at the college level, in Peru as well as in the United States.
