Profile
Anais Holgado Lage (Ph.D. University of Salamanca 2014) is Lecturer of Spanish in Princeton University since Fall 2015. She received her Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics with a dissertation thesis that focused on Pragmatics and Discourse Markers and how to teach them in a second language setting. The core of her dissertation has become the Dictionary of Discourse Markers for Students of Spanish (Peter Lang, 2018). She is currently working on expressions of negation in Mexico and Central America. Other research interests include second language teaching and technology-enhanced learning. During her years at Princeton, she has designed, taught and coordinated a variety of courses in the Spanish Program and a Freshman Seminar.
