The Department of Spanish and Portuguese welcomes new lecturers Flor Chiaramonte, Luis Enrique Escamilla Frías, Eliana Hernández Pachón, and returning lecturers Yvonne Gavela Ramos, Eduardo Negueruela-Azarola, Maria Sáiz Angulo. We would also like to welcome visiting fellows Tiago Ferro and Luis Fischer.

The department is also pleased to announce the first-year graduate students this year: Mario Carrillo Ramirez Valenzuela, Luisa Dalla Valle Geisler, Estela Maritz Imigo Gueregat, and María Alejandra Peñuela Hoyos.
