On Friday, February 2, 2024, Catalina Arango-Correa participated in the launching of the book Handbook of Latin American Environmental Aesthetics (De Gruyter, 2023), edited by Jens Andermann, Gabriel Giorgi and Victoria Saramago, at NYU. Catalina was among the contributors to the volume with the entry "The Forest," where she traces a Latin American environmental aesthetic of the forest through the criticism of the iconic novel La vorágine (1924) by José Eustasio Rivera.
