Anais Holgado Lage was recently awarded a grant on Inclusive and Equitable Teaching by the McGraw Center for her project "Including the Afro-descendant community in Latin America and the Caribbean in a Spanish 200-level course". This curriculum development project has two collaborators: graduate student Juan Diego Pérez and undergraduate student Aleigha Reynolds, and the goal to include a two week unit on Afrolatinidad in the Spanish course SPA207.
