At the recent International Conference by "Association for the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language, ASELE, at the Universidad de Burgos, Spain, our lecturer, Adriana Merino, presented her paper "Comprehensive and performative L2 assessment: scenario-based electronic assessment (SBeA) and AI." Merino delved into the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in second/foreign language evaluations, and illuminated the vast potential AI brings to assessment design and grading.
