Rodney comments, "I wish to thank the Department of Spanish and Portuguese for allowing me to teach as part of my professional development as a graduate student. It is a joy and privilege to have excellent students in the classrooms. They are the ones who have taught me with their dedication and commitment to give my best as an educator. Without a doubt, teaching has been one of the great experiences that Princeton University has offered me. As a Puerto Rican student, it is an honor to receive the Arcadio Díaz-Quiñones teaching award. His contribution to Caribbean studies and fostering a tradition of critical thinking in Puerto Rican studies make receiving this award very special to me."
