SPO celebrated the beginning of the new academic year at the Palmer House on Friday September 15th. The evening began with announcements made by department Acting Chair, Christina Lee, during which she thanked SPO staff and welcomed new faculty to the department. Her comments were followed by additional announcements by Director of Graduate Studies, Javier Guerrero and Director of Undergraduate Studies, Rafael Cesar. They respectively extended a warm welcome to new grad students and concentrators. A list of most individuals referenced can be found in a news piece from earlier this month.
