In 012 East Pyne last Friday, students relived their summer experiences with the same people with whom they made unforgettable memories this past summer. Over pizza and refreshments, they reminisced about their time together as a slideshow displayed some of their favorite moments abroad. SPO

Communications Specialist & Study Abroad Administrator, Patrizia D'Adamo, compared this gathering with one she organized to break the ice with each group prior to departure and the difference was notable. During the hour-long meeting and even after, as students lingered to continue chatting, it was evident that close friendships had been forged, ones that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.

To prepare for this culminating moment, students submitted photos while abroad that would fit into several different categories: Landscape, Monuments & Architecture, and People & Culture. They were also presented with the "Statue Challege" in which students were asked to take a photo of themselves physically replicating a statue being observed. Needless to say, this challenge resulted in some very interesting photos! Some photos were also grouped into a new category which was inspired by the 2022 cohort - the Album Cover!

In addition to providing SPO with insight on the students' experiences in Argentina, Portugal, and Spain, the photo contest also provided SPO with a number of amazing images. These images will be featured on the Princeton website with photo credits throughout the year for all to enjoy. Photos were voted on by the entire SPO community (faculty, students and staff) through a polling system and the resultant winners of this year's contest are listed below.
