On September 19, SPO welcomed Gian Paolo Minelli in SPA 307 (Ways of Reading and Writing in Spanish).

Minelli, originally from Geneva, is a renowned photographer who has worked in several projects that combine portraits and self-portraits with urban realities. Minelli has held individual exhibitions in various museums, galleries, and art centers across the globe.

In his virtual class visit, Minelli discussed his life-long photography projects, particularly his work at the Zona Sur Barrio Piedrabuena, in Buenos Aires. Minelli had an interesting conversation with the students about the conception of the project and his involvement with the community.
