Rafael Rojas visited SPA 560 (Shadows of the People: Aesthetics and Politics in Modern Spain) taught by Professor Germán Labrador Méndez on Thursday, March 21st.
Rojas is one of Cuba's most distinguished Caribbean historians and cultural critics, and a renowned scholar and writer of Latin American history.
Rojas spent a year a Princeton fall 2013 to spring of 2014 teaching undergraduate courses and sharing his expertise in the area of Caribbean and Latin American studies. His Global Scholar affiliation provided Princeton an important opportunity to expand its internationalization efforts with the Cuban, Mexican and Hispanic-Caribbean academic communities.
