It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Javier Guerrero from Associate Professor to Full Professor! 

The promotion to this rank is the highest achievable rank in the faculty. This promotion officially recognizes Javier’s excellence in the field of Latin American studies worldwide, his exceptional teaching, and his indispensability as a member of the Princeton faculty overall. Javier’s promotion was approved by the Faculty Advisory Committee on Appointments and Advancements on April 24. Following the university’s rules, President Eisgruber recommended Javier’s promotion to the University’s Board of Trustees who granted its seal of approval at their meeting on May 27th.
