On June 27th, Anais Holgado-Lage, Nadia Cervantes, Gorka Bilbao Terreros, and Anna Alsina Naudi presented the edited volume Owning The Curriculum: A Complete Restructuring Of Princeton University's Spanish Program at the AATSP (American Association of Teachers of Spanish & Portuguese) in Salamanca. The session was very well attended. It described the impact that taking ownership of the curriculum had on the department at large with an emphasis on cultural competence and critical thinking within a multiliteracies framework.
