"La limonada que conecta a todos" awarded best podcast in SPA 105

Dec. 8, 2022

Every semester, students in SPA 105 create and produce a podcast for their course project. These podcasts are stories or radio-chronicles in Spanish which relate to one of the four main topics of the course: language, identity, colonialism and globalization. The project involves interviewing a Spanish-speaker in order to discover a fascinating story about the individual’s life and experiences. At the end of the semester, students choose their favorite podcast in their section, then the instructors of the course choose the best produced podcast among them.

For the fall 2022, the first prize went to Justine Corsilia, Tienne Yu, and Jack Rosenthal in Prof. Daniela Salcedo's class. They created a podcast called “La limonada que conecta a todos”, a story about the power of memories to connect family members, even when one of them cannot remember anything.

For the winners, our heartfelt congratulations for their dedication, effort, and great job! ¡Felicitaciones!
