Our language curriculum promotes critical engagement with texts and situated practice in real communicative situations. Through carefully curated selections of literary, film and multimedia productions, our students experiment with different ways of making meaning, become cognizant of how words and – more broadly – texts enact regimes of power, and use their own voices and perspectives to adopt, subvert, or reimagine the expectations of genre.
