On November 20, SPO graduate student, Estela Imigo Gueregat visited the SPA-LIN-LAS 233 (Languages of the Americas) class to talk about Mapuche language and culture. As a Mapuche-williche scholar, Estela engaged in an interesting conversation with students about Mapundungun, the current status of the language, and sociocultural aspects related to its maintenance and reclamation.
