On Thursday, November 11, Lizabel Mónica successfully defended her dissertation titled "Literatura Por Otros Medios: Tecnología Digital y Campo Literario en la Cuba Contemporánea."
Lizabel plans to work on a book based on her dissertation as well as other research and creative endeavors: "I also have a couple of articles in mind from the research that did not make it to the dissertation: the impact of digital technology in the fields of Cuban music and visual arts."
