Raquel Mattson-Prieto, lecturer of Spanish, has co-authored the book chapter, "Languaging and grammatical terminology: Expressing linguistic concepts while co-constructing understandings."

The paper is an empirical study on how Spanish language learners formulated explicit understandings of the pronoun "se" during a series of communicative tasks in small-group interactions. This chapter and other chapters on "languaging" can be found on the John Benjamins website
