A Brazil LAB event with Lilia Schwarcz, Debora Diniz, and Arcadio Díaz-Quiñones.

Lilia M. Schwarcz is Professor of Anthropology at the University of São Paulo and Visiting Professor at Princeton University. A leading Brazilian public intellectual, Schwarcz has won five Jabuti prizes for her historical, anthropological, and artistic books. She is a curator at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) and writes for Brazil’s main media outlets. A Guggenheim and John Carter Brown Library Fellow, Schwarcz was a Visiting Professor at Oxford, Leiden, Brown, and Columbia.

Debora Diniz is Professor of Law at the University of Brasília and Visiting Fellow at Brown University. She is the co-founder of Anis: Institute of Bioethics.

Arcadio Díaz-Quiñones is Professor of Spanish and Portuguese, Emeritus.
