The Colombian Studies Group at Princeton and The Boquitas Pintadas Film Club invite you to a screening of the award-winning documentary "Pizarro" (2016), this Thursday, Sept 29 at 8 pm in East Pyne Hall 010.

This screening of "Pizarro" is part of the Colombia Migrant International Film Festival, which will showcase movies in 11 countries and 23 cities about Colombian migrant and exile experiences around the world.

The movie, directed by Simón Hernández, depicts the story of Maria José, who struggles to find out who killed his father, Carlos Pizarro, and why. Carlos Pizarro was a Colombian politician and revolutionary who was the leader of the M-19 guerrilla when it decided to demobilize and commit to peace in Colombia.
