Students in POR 107 (Intermediate Portuguese) participated in an in-class debate to discuss various controversial topics ranging from the legalization of drugs to politics. The debate was recorded at the Broadcast Center in Lewis Library. This project was coordinated by lecturer Daiane Tamanaha.
Students in POR 107 have created a television show titled “Perspectivas da Lusofonia.” Recently Elise Hogan ’24 hosted an interview with Professor Pedro Meira Monteiro, and Nick Pusater ’22 interviewed Brazilian photographer Jennifer Cabral-Pierce.
The project was coordinated by Portuguese lecturer Daiane Tamanaha.
