Faculty in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese collaborate frequently with students and faculty from other universities and organizations to bring forward fresh and innovative ideas. Learn about the department's latest collaborations. Check out the first ever Cervantes Conference which took place at Princeton spring of 2023 and SPO's initiative in the Lunaape language reclamation project - supporting a local indigenous community near Princeton. SPO faculty also instrumental in organizing the VI CLTL conference exploring "Current and Future Trends in AI" which took place during the Fall of 2023 and the one-day workshop in April of 2024 that united scholars for the advancement of the early modern Spanish Pacific studies
